Dune smart series are the best 2D full support BD ISO media player, new Dunes are okay for 2D, not ONLY LITE SUPPORT FOR BD ISO, Mede8er is the best 3D media player, 2D is pretty good, then in third place is PCH.

Be aware none of these players have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or Vudu. They are for streaming your ripped content.

I like the Xtreamer Prodigy with 3D BD Iso support. It has a integrated jukebox and there is no need for external scraper via PC.

If you want that feature PCH and Mede8er have that, and both are better companies with better support.

Around that price, I would go with either Roku and Apple TV + Plex app. FYI, if your devices doesn't support the actual video / audio format Plex will transcode it so it can be played with your device. I recently installed Plex for my iPads and iPhones, and I can play my movies within and outside my network. It has a pretty nice jukebox as well.

However, you will have to install the Plex in your PC, Apple Computer, Server or NAS and keep it on to use it.

For that price, you will not find anything that supports blueray ISO's with full menus, may be lite. The only one that supported BD ISO full menus was the Netgear NeoTV550, which has been discontinued and has not further support from Netgear. Also, if you are doing BD ISO's you will need a media player that has full license so cinavia won't be an issue such as Dune Smart Series or PCH A200, A210, and A300.

WDTV has a slow GUI and at time unresponsive. It doesn't support BD ISOs either. Micca I don't recommend at all. Support... What support. It has no support at all.

I also say WDTVs I don't feel the GUI is slow at all. I have no probs with mine...I use different themes instead of the stock UI. For HD Audio they can play TrueHD and for DTS-MA I just convert to FLAC...

Absolutely, the WDTV SMP works, decodes everything, attach a USB HDD with your movies, tv shows photos/pictures and view them on your TV. No Server to maintain.
If you look you can find them for less than $75.00.

Enjoy..........
