Well you understand wrong. It's a bit of a moot point now since we have and are pulling all Netgear equipment and going with other manufacturers. I just happen to have one that was a replacement for a v1 that died and Netgear wanted to charge me $200 for it a couple of months ago, until I reminded them it was a replacement for a defective unit. I was hoping, but didn't figure it would be supported for long.
