Last week Netflix announced it is updating it's App on Streaming Devices/Smart TVs.

https://signup.netflix.com/MediaCenter/Press

http://www.theverge.com/2013/11/13/5098224/netflix-introduces-one-unified-tv-interface-to-rule-them-all

I have yet to see an official, comprehensive, list of supported devices, so was thinking if people come across the new update they could post their equipment here. Also, if you could post the date it became available and whether you were prompted for the update of if you had to actively seek it out. For example (obviously my example would be more useful if the devices had updated):

Samsung PN51E7000 - Smart TV. No app update yet - 11/17/13
Samsung BD-5900 - Smart Blu Ray Player. No app update yet
xbox 360 - no app update yet.

If you have any other info you'd like to share about your experience with the update, feel free to post it.

So has nobody had a new Netflix app update for their device yet?

I really hope it has the ability to change profiles on Samsung Smart TVs.

Here's a youtube video of the interface.

We use Netflix quite a bit. Hope we get this update.

The Xbox One Netflix app has an interface that's very similar to the one in the demo, but I don't think it's exactly the same. It is the first device I've seen besides the PC that has the "who's watching" intro, and my 7 year old daughter loves the "browse kids" functionality.

Movies look their best when they look like movies. More Patton-esque remasters!

My Sony BDP-S790 doesn't yet have the update. Checked manually as well.

Very bad Netflix decision.

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this. (Maybe I missed it.)

Netflix has made a lousy and unnecessary decision in the implementation of the new interface. This behavior is consistent for every movie I have watched so far.

When the closing credits come up for a movie, Netflix shrinks the active display to about 1/8 of the screen so that they can make suggestions about other things to watch. Their suggestions occupy about 7/8 of the screen.

One consequence is that the credits are impossible to read. Another consequence is that any plot extensions, out takes, or other devices that are present are impossible to see.

I find this extremely irritating. People work hard on these movies and should be properly credited for their work. When I watch a movie, I want to see the whole movie. I don't want part of the movie usurped by ads and irrelevant suggestions.

If anyone knows how to turn this behavior off, please post.

I have a UN55F6400 that does not yet have the new unified Netflix app. Does anyone when Samsung will be updating this version on this model?

It can't be turned off, but you can go fullscreen again as the credits roll, by arrowing up to the video window and pressing Enter. I wish they'd make the credit crush optional.

Thanks for the suggestion. Someone on DBSTalk made the same suggestion. I can verify that it does work. (It shouldn't be necessary. Netflix could at least make the workaroound known.)

I appreciate your response.
