My Panny bluray does get VUDU,Netflix and Amazon. Getting MKV is not the problem. Getting 5.1 audio from MKV files with the Amazon Fire TV is. My point was just to say that there is no one perfect streaming solution, which is why many of us resort to multiple boxes.

How are you not getting 5.1 audio from your mkv files?
I've never had an issue with that.
Only issue I have is playing some of the mkv files without stutter.

No DD or DTS from MKV files with the Plex app for FTV.
DD and DTS work fine in Kodi (xbmc).
