Can I stream HEVC codec natively on Samsung Smart TV using SEK?

I was wondering if anyone here tried out the SEK1000, I found online that they have the HEVC codec

I have a media server setup on Plex with a mkv file that has a HEVC video codec and AAC5.1 audio codec. Whenever I try to stream this file locally, the file transcodes. However, my other mkv files with H264 video codec stream directly without my media server having to transcode.

I was wondering if this evo kit would give the TV the ability to stream HEVC codec directly rather than my server having to transcode

Thats probably a good question for the Orca on the Plex forum (Orca is the developer of the Samsung Plex app).

The tv can probably play HEVC from a thumb drive or something like that, but the Plex software would have to be able to to access it for it to work natively with his app.
