Best Media Player for Playing Movies off of exFat USB Hard Drive?

Hey everyone - Is there a media player that can read exFat formatted USB hard drives? Let's say I want to play movies off of my hard drive that have all different kinds of Video/Audio formats (AVI, MP4, MKV etc), which media player should I go with?

Is there some reason you don't want to have them as NTFS formats?

Only one reason, haven't figured out how to write to NTFS from macbooks.

Are most media players capable of reading NTFS?

All of the ones I've owned can read NTFS, they can also read FAT32, but FAT32 of course has a 4 gb size limit I believe.
