Transparent TVs don't make any sense for a billion reasons. Transparent displays have some uses, of course, but I like David's guess here. "It's just so reeeeeeeal". Sharp showed 4K last year, Panasonic did too.. Samsung could show it now as something they are ready to commercialize.
I guess we'll know in a few days. One thing I'm going to guess, despite their hype, it won't actually be revolutionary at all.
There is no difference in HDMI cables. If you can see the picture without visible dropouts or sparklies, the cable is working at 100%. No other cable will display a better version of that picture. You're simply wrong if you think there is a better digital cable than one that is already working.
