That is why we are not taking pre-orders, no confirmed pricing. I will note on my post saying " that sounds about right", I was referring to the MSRP being 9999. on the 4K 55" LG.

Thinking the same thing, but there was a lg dealer event in Toronto a few weeks ago, so maybe they got some info there, who knows

Maybe we can start a powerbuy for all Canadians interested in the 65ec9700? I have a really good dealer but he doesn't carry LG. I'm gonna try and convince him to carry LG as he only carries high end stuff, and LG was not exactly high end until they launched their OLED TVs. Any Canadians here with a good LG connection? Please post if your interested, and we can start a list.

Well let's hope the that LG gets there s$&$t together cuz I want one now smile.gif I don't want to wait any longer ... 2 tv,s later and I'm still without one.... I'm just waiting on the holy grail... Patiently ...well not that patiently .. I will prob be a first adopter anyhow .. I'm getting tired of seeing a Empty space where my 65 behemoth use to sit ... Still if that price is correct I don't see how sony is gonna sell any x950b at a msrp of 7,999,99..... One thing is clear the 4k OLED is suppose to come out by the end of this month WITH THE 77 Inch coming out end of may... Let see if LG can make there deadline

I like OLED TV's but no hurry to buy one just 4K LED and OLED they need work the kinks out of them.

I figured everyone would like to see it without the frame and it really displays how thin the unit is

Do you have a series of pics, or just that one?  I would love to see it from the side (including the mount) just to get a sense of how it managed to be attached to the rest of the world when it's that thin.

Can't wait to see the picture quality. How does the museum art gallery look?

How did you know the TV could be used without the canvas frame?

Stopped by Abt Electronics today, sad to report that their 55EA9800 floor set had a dead pixel, center of the screen, about 2/3 of the way up. I noticed it on a light blue sky background, didn't spend much time eyeballing it since a sales rep was right over me... so i can't say whether it was one subpixel or what.

bigcoupe2003,

If you have time for three questions - did the tv and frame ship in one box or individual boxes? Does the frame attach to the TV, the wall, or either? And, if you hooked up the speakers, how did they sound to you on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being poor?

Thanks and congratulations.

I never hooked up the actual gallery frame so not sure how the speakers sound to be honest however they ship in seperate boxes the gallery frame ships with the articulating mount and the OLED ships by itself. The frame attached to the wall from what I can see from the illustrations and by looking at the parts you install the articulating mount first then put the frame on the wall and after this is finished pull the mount out and attach the unit.
