Question someone plz help me pick

Hello, I am a total noob at the matter of hd-3d televisions and i couldnt make up my mind which one to buy cause there are so many statistic sites out there with differnet opinions for the same product. I want to nuy a new tv and i have narrowed the list to this four:
- samsung ue40h6400 vs sony KDL42W815B
or
- samsung ue48h6400 vs sony KDL50w829B

It looks to me like sony has better image quality which comes first to my list of priorities..but i saw great reviews for samsung as well. Let me also add that what matters most is picture quality and not smart features. Any guidance would be appreciated!

(p.s the inches will be decided by the price so dont worry about it..)

Thank you!!!
