Hi all, Im gettin a new Tv and need some advice, I have currently a LG 42pg3000, good alround tv and has lasted me the last 3 years or so but now i wanna upgrade and move that to my bedroom. Also is it right that its not true 1080p cuz i only just found out after all these years.

My question is how good is the es8000, Im thinkin of pickin one up after i come back from holiday but dont wanna empty my bank balance if its not really work it, Keeping in mind own own a samsung galaxy s3 and an xbox with 3d games that i wanna use with it.

Thx in advance

Why the move to an lcd? 1080p 3d plasmas are cheaper.
Alot of lcds can't hold the full resolution when there is motion on the screen but the es8000 is a flagship model I believe, so it should do just fine.
If your reffering to shutter glasses vs passive glasses for 3d the debate is still out on that.
With passive each eye only gets half of the 1920 lines
but with active the glasses and display rapidly alternate between each eye (I think 120 or 240 times per second) to deliver the 3d image but there is usually more ghosting.
