I have a question that hopefully you guys can answer. Today I was in my local A/V store looking for some new sets. I was checking out the newest 52" Sharps. Long story short I can get their display model Fujitsu P50XHA40 which has not been used a lot (it is currently not even hooked up to a video source that is how little it is used). It was offered for only a few hundred more than the 52" sharp. However he seemed to think that it was only 720p. I tried looking it up online and I am seeing some places list it as also 1080i
So what I would like to know is if it is actually just 720p or in fact if it is actually 1080i. And would you rather have that then the sharp LC-52LE640U for a few hundred more?
Thanks for the input.
(I accidentally put this in the HDTV Tech forum so please excuse the double thread. Mods please delete that thread in the tech form. Thanks.)
Yes I realize it is an old set. And he never tried to sell it to me. I asked him how much he would sell it for, it is not even really for sale but he shot me the price if I really wanted it.
Just because it is an old set doesn't mean that it can't be better than lots of new sets. Many people here still consider the Kuro better than anything made today, and from my understanding this was in the same ballpark as the kuro in its day.
