Hello,

I just "upgraded" from my old Samsung LE40 to a new UE40EH6030W and I am unable to install the automatic wall mount WMN5090 on it.

I have chosen to buy Samsung just so I could use my automatic wall mount but am unable to have it set up and cannot find the option in the menu.

How do I set up the wall mount in the menu?

No current Samsung tvs are compatible with that mount. The "ex-link" connector necessary to operate it isn't a Samsung feature any more.

Tnx. I found out a little bit more. Apparently Samsung does not care about their clients and offers no backwards compatibility.

On my old TV the connector was not called "Ex-Link", but "Service input". The new tv also has "service input" and the jack works, i think they just decided not to add the extra code needed for 6 hex commands via rs232. I pretty much despise Samsung right now.

Apparently someone managed to make a windows app to control the stand and I will try that... on my new LG TV...

...because I sent the new Samsung back and bought a LG 50" full HD Plasma. smile.gif

Yes and no. I found someone posting on a forum that he has it but I haven't sent him a private message requesting it yet. Why? Do you have or want it?

What did you get? Because the plasma I bought now has a really annoying flicker. Like, apparently, all plasma tv's do.
