I am in the process of building a new house...looking to mount a flat screen in the Family room.
I saw the Sony 4K TV in person with the built in speakers....are there any other Flat Panels that have the speaker option like the Sony TV?
I don't want a sound bar or surround sounds. I am going to build a dedicated theater room in the basement when I get a funds to finish it..any helpful advise is greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, no there are no other modern sets with speakers like the Sony 4k set.

Why would you want to set up a theater space and skimp out on the audio? Even most sound bars are worlds better then most tv speakers.

I don't need snobs to tell me how to think, thank you!

This was my old setup in the house i just sold..I just don't want big speakers run wires all over the place in the new family room.
I just want a clean setup with out any satellite or in wall speakers.

The Sony UHD TV is the only modern TV with decent built-in speakers. The only others I know of were the Mitsubishi Unisen TVs but those are long gone.
Best advice is get the Sony 4K TV or get an unobtrusive soundbar with whichever TV you get.

What did you decide?  Did you look at the new XBR-65X850A?  It's "mostly" the X900A, but without the side speakers.  It's active-3D though.  :(

And Sony has dramatically reduced the pricing on their 4K lineup recently.  If you bought the X900A before it was hacked down by $1500, I hope you either got a price protection guarantee, or can return it.  :-/

Java developers, when I saw what has been placed into Java 8 I was immediately reminded of how I've spent so much of my life trying to protect engineers from themselves. Lambda expressions are a horrible idea. Gentlemen: the goal isn't to make code readable for a competent mid-level engineer. The goal is to make code readable for a competent mid-level engineer exhausted and hopped up on caffeine at 3 am. What a disaster Java 8 is!

Not Cheap, but Artison LCRDM-MK2 Series (link) semi-custom either-side-of-tv speaker extensions might meet your criteria.

Disclaimer: I have not heard this technology in use.
