A few years ago i looked everywhere for a 7" to 10" TV or Monitor with HDMI to display onscreen menus while listening to music (so i don't have to fire up the Plasma) but nothing existed. Vizio had announced a 7" and 10" Razor LED w/HDMI input a few years back but it never made it to production/
Lilliput makes some 10.1" LCD HD LCD Camera monitors with HDMI, but they're over $200, seem to only come from Hong Kong or China, and it's unclear if their HDMI input is HDCP compliant or not since they're for use with video cameras, not cable boxes or BD players etc.
If you can go up in size, there are a number of decent 13.3" LED TVs made by Supersonic, RCA, GPX, Coby, Haier, etc that do have one HDMI input. I ended up buying a Supersonic SC-1311 13-Inch LED-Lit TV and it works great, and i ended up buying a 2nd one to use on my desk (with an HDMI splitter) to monitor the news while working on the computer. Off-angle viewing is poor, but straight on it actually has a really good picture.
However, If you're able to display your AVR menus using a regular yellow RCA composite video output, there may still be some 7" and 10" portable widescreen LCD TVs available that have an AV input adapter cable. I have one of each made by Haier (model #s HLT71 and HLT10) and have used them in the past to monitor my Tivo, cable DVR, security cameras, and an older Sony DVD player that i use to listen to MP3 CDs. There are some on Ebay from time to time.
