Did anyone see the Ultra HD commercial during the EMMYS? That was one stunning display and one stunning way to support it. Makes me almost want to buy one, and I swore I would not even consider UHD for 10 years.

10 years is a little extreme of a wait for any level of technology.  You waiting for the 100" displays to be $20 at target?  :)

Cogito ergo sum makes a fundamental mistake because it ignores the implied existence of the narrator. Descartes might as well have said "A rose is red, therefore I am".

No, just tired of being an early adopter and missing out on features and comparability after things settle in. I'm the guy that plunked down $2500 in 2001 for an HD TV only to find a few years later it was hobbled since it did not have an HDMI input and only one component input. Had to buy a switcher to accommodate various sources. I ended up replacing the display about 7 years later. While 10 years may be a stretch I'm just saying that if I am like many it's going to be a while before UHD really takes hold.
