Cool! The Pioneer Best i video looks crazy good. Little did Pioneer know their demos would live on for Oled.

Did the software update. Too bad we don't know what's new or fixed.

I'm 261 hours in and so far so good. Maybe I won the Oled panel lottery and at the crazy Microcenter price!

Are you in the Americas? Do you have the update shut off? Is there a reason for you not to update? So many questions, so little time.

Funny, that picture looks just like pictures posted from a 950B, 900B and almost every set I've seen since joining AVS. Yet everyone gawks at every picture posted.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice picture, but it doesn't look any different than pictures that even you posted from your other sets.

Nobody is disputing OLED blacks, but pictures just don't tell the story.

I've been reading through this thred, are you guys with over 1500 hours still happy? I'm coming from plasma do you find image retention and burn in is about the same? I have the sony 950b and I love it but sony is sending me a replacement and if this set still had problems I might give oled a try.

Good point but the difference is with the 900B and 950B if you move three seats either way the blacks turn to grey. We know with OLED it's not just the picture,
these sets are perfect for the person replacing a Kuro.

Agreed, you need to see it in person to see the difference

I was watching baraka last night and a scene where it was under a rock, over looking a valley looked VERY 3d and kind of made me queezy(it wasn't moving fast at all either) as if I was in a helicopter overlooking the scene
I have motion sickness

The 950B is my favorite 4K set and I came so close to pulling the trigger. The problem I have is I need to purchase and commit for 5 years. I am greedy, I want 4K and OLED. If I purchased the 950B I would be kicking myself when the 65 4K OLED comes out. As great is the. 950B is it is not in the same class as OLED.

Very True, with OLED the picture does not look nearly as good as it does in person.

Is this new with the software update? I just discovered I can use the magic mouse to draw the channel number on the screen to change the channel. Not that I would use that...

Hold down the wheel and a menu appears.

you'd definitely look a bit looney when demonstrating that feature and changing the channel to '527'. OTOH if you do it well enough, with the right audience, they may think you're Zorro

not sure if its uneven panel aging or software related

Sadly 5X10 you have experienced OLED which makes it tough to go with anything but. There are 2 sets I believe an OLED owner can turn to without regret, the 950B or the 78" Samsung. Anything else and if you are will let your OCD nit pick into a return.
