Beware the statistical correlations that sound like they're indicative of something. Drowning deaths are tightly correlated to ice cream consumption. In fact, be wary of any statistic that is stated as if it comes with a self-evident conclusion: there is no such thing.

I just saw parts of those films again recently by channel flipping and regretted not seeing them from the beginning. Both 1 & 2 were absolute triumphs.

The Tree of Life is considered by many to about as good as it gets for PQ. In the avsforum review it received 100/100 for PQ. Many of the shots in the film are lucid to the point of being unnerving.

I wouldn't say it's one of my favourite films, though.
