Recommend a 60 or 65" TV please for gaming

I spend most of my time on projectors when thinking about displays, but I now want to replace an older Panasonic 720p plasma. Its use is 97% Wii U, PS4, and PS3. Madden, mario kart 8, etc..

Its in a daylight basement and some periods of the day it does get a reflection from a window that is offset behind it, so a matte screen would be a plus, but is not an absolute necessity.

What 1080p model would be a great fit for this? I would like to stay under $1500. Much less is better if possible. Doesn't have to be a top notch set, but I am looking for you guys to tell me what the current best values are. Thanks!

Maybe one of the Sony LCDs? These seem to be getting reviewed well for gaming and may fit your budget. TBH there really are no matte screens made as most are semi glossy.
