It seems number 10 is about the only one that might be a real risk of being wrong. All the others seem inevitable.

AAAaaaaannnnnd number 10 has already happened. Take a look: http://www.toshiba.com/us/tv

GONE

Such a shame they dumbed down their japanese TV lineup when they brought them to the US which had very unique features like sub 10ms input lag which is UNHEARD OF for any TV above 65". Only available in japan now. Take a look at these nice looking Z10X series with ~10ms input lag and they'll never make it outside of japan:

Review with 10ms confirmed here: http://av.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/n...14_641525.html

Such a shame

And the crazy part is that Japan doesn't even go for home consoles all that much anymore - they primarily game on handhelds and mobiles.

Nevertheless, that's disappointing because for 3 straight years now they've been one of DisplayLag's HDTV choice for low input lag, particularly at lower price-points:

2012: Toshiba 55L6200U
2013: 2013 Toshiba 39L1350U (the one I bought - it even has VGA!)
2014: Best Budget: 32″ Toshiba 32L1400U

I know people (though over the internet) that are fluent in Japanese, and I myself know a teeny bit...
