I have been thinking about putting a 60" plasma on a motorized ceiling drop down. But then I got to thinking...my attic gets awefully hot up there.

So how hot can plasmas get without damage?

TIA

moisture could condense on it as it is returned to the attic after being in the air conditioned space-

consider boxing in the attic space for it and vent it to the air conditioned room below
