Just browsing the local video store and saw the LG 60PC1D.
Any comments on PQ? I thought it looked pretty good and for $5k it was an awesome deal, same price as the PIO elite 50" that I came into look at.

Does this unit have the DVR built in? The LG web site seems to say so , but I can hardly believe it at this price.

Models with that nomenclature all have the DVR. The 50" was rated second by Consumerreports over the usual suspects, except Pio which wasn't included in that last roundup. Don't know how much of that rating is geared toward PQ and how much is value due to the DVR.

There is not a DVR in that model. There would be an 'R' after the 'D' in the model number if there were, e.g. 60PY2DR. I think this is a complete list of DVR models: 50PX4DR, 50PY2DR, 60PY2DR, 50PC1DR, 50PC1DRA, 42LB1DR, and 42LB1DRA.
