Other than the height issue, most 'new' homes have very large rooms and even a 50" display, to me, is too small for the 15'+ viewing distance.
Second, the issue of cables from the display to wherever all your equipment is should be a concern and asscess to the rear of the set (which applies to any wall mounted set no matter where it is).
Being able to easily access the rear of the set to move or change cables, troubleshoot etc. and not to have to bury cables in the wall (at least as few as possible) is at the top of my list. Of course, if everything is planned out, with everything working as intended and nothing ever going wrong, the above wouldn't apply..............
Free, abundant OTA television separates this country from many others. ATSC1 has only been in force since 2009. The wireless industry has enough spectrum. Enough of 'planned obsolesce'.
