I am going to buy a new TV in the next month. Just a few questions for the experts on this forum. Here is some background info; I am looking for a 32" or 37" wide screen, under $1300, we get our signal over the air, maybe going to Dish network later on. Plasma or LCD? Best bang for your buck? What specs are important? Was looking at the LG 37LC2D. Any brand's to stay away from? Just consider me a rookie at the flat panel TV market.
Thanks,
Ryan

The only Plasma that small will be the Panasonic TH-37PX60U and it's argueably the best picture quality of any Flat Panel TV in the sub-40" size range. My initial recommendation would be to get this one, unless your environment is too bright or your particular needs require you to choose an LCD instead in which case you'll need to search/scan/browse the LCD forum for the wealth of existing threads about 32" and 37" TVs, some of which are within your budget.
