Can anyone recommend a 40"- 46" LCD or Plasma that could be driven from a PC in the display's native resolution that wouldn't suffer from any type of burn in issues?
The display will show an overview screen of a process that is very static and changes infrequently. At most, a few boxes/circles on the screen would changes from green to red or yellow.
Most of the LCDs list a native resolution of 1366x768 and most video cards don't support this resolution.
There are several Plasmas that have a native resolution of 1024x768 that is perfect for a PC, but I'm concerned about burn in issues. I've gotten mixed signals on whether or not this has been fixed with Plasma, especially when displaying a very static image from a PC.
I'm also concerned about the back-light life of the display as it will be continuously used 24x7x365.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
