Is there any combination or Hardware/software product available that will allow me to record HD from either the BEV HD6000 Satellite Receiver (same as dish 6000 I believe), or the Starchoice HD receiver which is Motorola 401 receiver with the Motorlola HDD201 HD decoder add-on box ?

As these are my only sources of HD programming (no OTA available) I have no option of using either of the Computer based solutions as I see it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your only choice is the JVC W-VHS units. They record analog high band component video & stereo 2 channel audio. Do a search for JVC WVHS.
