I was watching Dracula 2000 last night recorded from EVU, and there it was, the exact same freeze problem as experienced on the JVC 30000U, about every 20-30 minutes. I checked the tape several times to make sure that my deck was not causing it, and the freeze was repeated every time, it was recorded that way.

It almost appears that Expressvu is now using the flawed JVC product to source their movies and demos. The freeze problem also occured during the preceding demo.

I will rerecord the movie tonight to check if they have fixed the problem.

Has anyone else seen this?

Yes, I tried to record Dracula and got the same thing. Glad to hear its BEV, I was in a panic that my modulator was messed up.
