I have two questions about the recently available 169Time mod for an RCA DTC100 box that allows recording of OTA HD signals:

1) Will all of my existing DVHS recordings -- made on a Panasonic PV-HD1000/TU-DST51 Combo play back fine through the modified DTC100?

2) Will a recording made from the modified DTC100 and a PV-HD1000 play back fine on other PV-HD1000 units connected to a TU-DST50 or 51 -- and/or a JVC HM-DH30000U?

I guess what I'm getting at is: Does the DTC100/mod use some kind of proprietary format (like the original 169Time DV mod was going to use) -- or is it (for lack of a better term) a "Standard HD DVHS" recording that is made?

Thanks,

Steve
