Thanks dz2k and VisionOn...sent email to Zap2it and Moxi. Hope they'll help.

All seems ok and I'm relieved. Zap2It came through and now had to remap all my shows to the new channel numbers, a big pain indeed since I had over 80 series shows programmed. Those series that ended and hence not in the guide anymore until next year had to be deleted. I'll have to remember their names a few months from now and reprogram them into my Moxi.

The sad thing is that I always watched programs in the 400-499 channel number only as they were HD and mostly likeable. Easy to scan through using the remote. With the new program changes by TWC, my favorite programs are now scattered everywhere from channel 2 to 12xx. A pain IMHO... Oh well!

The Moxi has served me well since January, 2010. The current hard drive is a Samsung HD204UI/Z4 (Spinpoint F4EG 2 TB SATA2 5400rpm 32 MB Cache) installed in January, 2012; it works, but it should be replaced. I happen to have another of these hard drives purchased in January, 2014, as I was planning to clone it before I decided to get the Tivo. I can install and format this new drive in the Moxi for $100 additional from the prices below, but you can probably find a larger drive that works.

Condition Details
The Moxi and Mates 1 & 2 are in excellent condition, and the remotes are in like new condition. The item will ship in the original manufacturer packaging material and boxes.
I take excellent care of my electronics, ensuring proper cooling for extended service life; heat reduces the service life of electronics. The Moxi DVR has been installed in ventilated and temperature-controlled equipment rack during its service life in my home.

I provide these installation details to ensure potential buyers the item has never been operated at excessive temperatures. Rather, the operating temperatures of equipment installed in my rack are much less than the common installation in a closed cabinet.

I can sell the Moxi and the Mates separately, but prefer to sell the whole package together. For calculation of shipping costs, my zip code is 60491. The pricing is as follows:

Package Price
Moxi DVR + 3 Mates: $500 ($515.00 with PayPal) + actual shipping costs

A La Carte Prices
Moxi DVR: $275 ($283.25 with PayPal) + actual shipping costs
Moxi Mate 1: $125 ($128.75 with PayPal) + actual shipping costs
Moxi Mate 2: $125 ($128.75 with PayPal) + actual shipping costs
Moxi Mate 3: $100 ($103.00 with PayPal) + actual shipping costs *
* Mate 3 is priced lower, because I purchased it used from an AVS member, and I do not have the original box.

Thanks for looking.

Mark
I highly doubt you will get any buyers willing to buy for those prices but good luck. Maybe if all were brand new and never use/un-openend, but not for an "obsolete" DVR which is essentially un-supports and on life support......

Good luck.

You have to consider how much per month you can save in fees from the cable company. I saved $30 per month from Comcast, with all the fees they charged for just one DVR (not multiple rooms)! Arris will be supporting MSO's for awhile, I think. Also, my equipment is in mint condition in the original boxes, so I think it is worth it. The buyer is very happy with what he received yesterday.

That ebay link was funny. Retail moxi will sell. They were silly to take them off market.

I want to make sure we're understanding this correct. By zap2it updating their guide, it updated your moxi guide on your box and moxi.com w/o moxi cust care?

I think someone here stated that they replaced their moxi hdd and moxi support ended the warranty on the moxi and the mates they had.

Wow-I stand corrected. I never thought there were any nuts willing to pay that dollar amount for used, end of life equipment. Nice.

Moxi Care first claimed my box was offline(incorrect imho) but was I was online, they detected I had 'tampered' with my moxi by upgrading the HDD to a larger one. They then decided to cut me off and said "no more support for you buddy!".

Zap2it did their magic and afterwards I simply forced an channel guide upgrade on the moxi and that did it.

Will not work with U-verse, only cable systems. If it doesn't work with a Charter CableCARD then you either have a faulty box or there is a problem with the network.
