Does anyone know if it is possible to record HDTV after the signal has passed through a TW HD Cable Box and before it goes to the TV?? And if it is what recorder do you use?

TIA
Hugh

Your only choice is a analog WVHS from JVC. These cost $2k used and go for about $4k new.

It will record the RGBHV or component video and l/r audio.

Try a search for JVC & WVHS for more details.
