Audio Video Interiors reviewed the JVC DH30000U. I am outraged!

No where does it mention 5C or image constraint. I does better and I quote

"The 50-gigibyte storage capacity of the D-VHS tape can fit an entire HD feature film (say, one broadcast from HBO-HD or a pay-per-view HD movie) or a couple of one-hour HDTV shows....... with room to spare"

"the DH-30000u was partially designed to work with Echostar's new 6000 HDTV satellite receiver utilizing the 1394 connector."

Wow I just plug a DH-30000U into a E* 6000 and tape HD PPV movies all day long! Right!

But then again those E* PPV HD movies contain the most secure copy protection there is already, they suck so who would want a copy!

Another fine day for high end AV magizines.

Hehe! So the truly awful PPV selection is in fact part of Hollywoods copy protection plan... very cunning.... you're right, it's a truly undefeatable anti-copy mechanism!

Hey... I resemble these remarks. I liked Rush Hour 2. A couple glasses of port and suddenly it looks like Oscar material.
