I recently upgraded to a new Brighthouse plan that includes a Cisco Explorer 8642HDC DVR Recorder... It is the central recorder for my two televisions...
After about a week of successful recording and playbacks, the 8642HDC now has problems playing back any recordings... Video and Audio playback will start to freeze... The freezes come to a point where the entire 8642HDC freezes and I will have to turn it off... Some times it requires an unplug/replug to get the 8642HDC playing again.
The 8642HDC also has the same trouble playing back a current show once it has been stopped (to answer the front door for example). It now seems that all playback through the 8642HDC's hard drive system freeze up and are unwatchable.
Anyone seen this before?
