I noticed on the web it had a firmware update: firmware (version VRX.242.18.10) -

The question is, how do you know what firmware you have? Is there an option to see the version? Overall I am satisfied with the unit, however the slowness of the remote and the changing channels when one looks at the guide is hard to get used to. My own workaround is to use a guide on my android phone or computer...and as to the slowness of channels....well...

This is probably more related to decades of having cable and like the male I am...having decades of a remote in my hand constantly looking for a new channel very two minutes! LOL

What "unit" are you talking about?

Maybe your question should go in the thread for that "unit"?
