I have a DCX-3400M from Time Warner.
I've noticed that the box cuts of the last minute of almost every recording. The only way around it seems to be to extend recordings by a minute, but that causes issues when there are back-to-back recordings.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? Is it simply a time problem with the cable box? Or is it a systemic problem?
I get that too from a DCX3400 but am resigned to it after several months. There's no way I know to reset the internal clock except maybe unlug the box or have TW reauthorize it and download all the software again. The first may not work at all. The second will erare all the stored recordings.
Some networks/isps run a minute or two later delibvertly so when a show is over it is too late to see the beginning of the next show on another channel.p back to back recoreings only work for the same channel.
