My apartment complex only allows ATT Uverse (I know frown.gif ) and ATT keep sending me refurb DVRs everytime their HDD get messed up.
Now i know Haupphauge can record video stream passing through it's device but I don't have a dedicated PC to attach to it to record the shows.

1) Is it possible to have some type of box that can record the shows in it while the DVR is also recording it?
2) I have to return my current DVR as my service is ending so is it possible to copy what's in the DVR to my PC?

If what I am asking above is illegal or has some copyright issue, please close this thread accept my apology before hand. My purpose is not to do anything illegal.

Thanks smile.gif

If you can't use a PC, then you'll have to buy something like a Magnavox HDD/DVD recorder and playback/record each in real time an in SD, not HD. They are available at and ebay. See the DVD Recorder forum for details.
