I am thinking about purchasing the Tivo Roamio OR the Tivo Roamio Plus. Recording times and the amount of supported networks are non-issues with me but when I called Tivo today and asked them to explain to me what the advantage is by getting the moca bridge with the Roamio Plus, I had no idea what the Tivo rep was saying! Clearly, a moca bridge does something and is an advantage to have in a DVR, I just don't know what that advantage would be. Please help?

I've never seen that site before. That is fantastic, thanks. I've written the URL on a post-it and have it under my monitor for future use.

The bitterness of poor quality lasts long after the sweetness of the low price is forgotten . . . life is too short to drink bad wine

MoCA is an alternative to wired Ethernet. instead of using a Cat 6 cable it uses a coax cable, that same cable that TV and programming comes over. So at a very basic level it is a networking port.

Sony KDL-42V4100 LCD TV, Yamaha RX-V665 AV receiver, Sony PS3 slim, Klipsch F-30 speaker system
