i own a logitech harmony ultimate and i use it with the comcast motorola dcx3400. anyone have issues with the comcast motorola dcx3400 not turning off after recording a programmed dvr show? when pressing the logitech harmony remote to turn on the dvr, it turns it off because the dcx3400 failed to power off after recording a programmed dvr show.

You can use Help on the Harmony to get back in sync, or just leave the DVR on all the time. There's virtually no difference in power use whether is on or in standby. To do that, change the power options of the device in Harmony to no power or change activities to not send any power commands to the DVR. Moto boxes have no discrete power commands like other DVRs from satellite or U-verse do. So there isn't much else you can do.
