Any new info on the 211? I was thinking of switching from DirecTV to Dish and a Dish STB with firewire would be a dealmaker. ;)

Wow, a blast from the past. I forgot I subscribed to this thread.

Since we haven't heard diddly-squat about this receiver in almost a year, it's safe to assume this bad boy has been s***-canned.

And now that Dish has given up on Firewire in the 921, I'm thinking that Dish isn't going with Firewire with any of its new STBs.
