Is it a possible combo?
If so, it will be quite cost-effective for 1080i > 1080p.

Thanks.

I don't think the PSM-2's output could be used to tape DVDs onto the HM-DH3000, which I assume was your question.

I don't believe the PSM-2 will have firewire output. From what I understand, it will have DVI output, which is simply uncompressed digital video output and is not compatiable with the HM-DH3000.

I just re-read your post. Do you realize that the PSM-2 is a DVD player and not a doubler/scaler (for external sources -- it does double and scaler DVDs, however)?

Hi belmore:

Please take a look at
http://www.cinematrix.de/psm1/psm1.html

"PSM 1 can be integrated into DVD players, digital sat receivers and digital VCRS. All player can be delivered in an complete package with region free modification and the progressive scan board with an maximum scaling of 1200P"

Maybe someone is brave enough and willing to send the DH30000 for a mod? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif
