For the few folks that have had the HM30000 for a little while, how does it compared to the HD1000 now? Limitations? Advantages?
Are you going to sell you HD1000 now? Would you puchase another or again? ETC?

Thanks

dave

There is a big advantage for me to use DH30000. I don't use a STB and only need a D-VHS recorder with Mpeg decoder to output analog HD signal.

Okay, please a little specific help since its not clear what people have done.

Have you personally
1). Copied DVHS HD1000 tape to JCV and copied played in either machine?

2). Copied DVHS JVC tape to HD1000 and copied played in either machine?

3). Have you copied OTA into JVC? Using OTA decoder from where?

4). Have you copied through DST50 OTA into JVC and played tape on both units?

5). Have you copied through DST50 sat into JVC and played tape on both units?

Sorry for being so anal but am really trying to get a 100% clear picture as to what has been PROVEN 1st hand by someone and what hasnt worked first hand by someone before I consider spending the money.

THanks for the help!!!!!
