What are the differences between thses two units? Quality, features, and useability with the HD1000's and maybe the JVC? I just picked up a 51 and had a 50 which I have yet to set up with my HD1000's. I will probably sell one or the other depending.

Thanks a lot...

The Panasonic web pages are gone it seems.

I've owned both and prefer the 51. It runs cooler and doesn't seem to get the 1080i blue sparkles like many 50s--I've seen that on three store demo 50s. The 51's NTSC output isn't simultaneous or y/c, but it's quality is better than the 50. The 50's lack 5C copy protection has not been an advantage so far and probably won't matter.
