First-time poster, so please be gentle. 8)
I'm contemplating the purchase of an accessDTV card and was reading the product information off of digitalconnection.com and I had a question related to full-screen playback:
It is stated the DTV playback can be windowed or full-screen. If playback can be windowed (presumably overlaid on top of the analog VGA input into the card), that would seem to imply that DTV playback can be scaled to an arbitrary size. I then noted that the screenshot (the one with "Mask of Zorro") suggests that full-screen playback can only be 480p, 1080i, or 720p. Is this indeed the case? I was hope that I could maximize the playback window and get playback scaled to whatever resolution I happen to be am running (likely 1024x768 or 1365x1024).
Any clarification or information on this subject would be appreciated.
The desktop overlay window is only 480P (or less) so it will look very soft when you blow it up to 1024x768.
