I noticed the new KD-34XBR2 HDTV set will offer i.Link connectors. I presume it will work with D-VHS decks. It also has on optical digital output. So this makes me wonder: will the built-in MPEG decoder finally get the AC-3 audio right, so we don't all have to keep using the Technics SH-AC500D decoder (which really only hides the problem) ?
