I found the PV-HD1000 on the Panasonic web site but cannot find the TU-DST50 or 51; they have a model 20.

Can you tell me where I can find out about and buy these products?

If someone has the combo working, can you tell me about what it does?

Both the Panasonic PV-HD1000 D-VHS unit and the DST-50/51
units have been discontinued. Your best bet for acquiring these items is to check eBay, but be warned that you will pay a heavy premium as these toys are in heavy demand.

I would honestly suggest holding off aquiring these until we get a better handle on exactly what is being released in the next few months.

A used HD1000 sold on Ebay a few days ago for $1600!!

Another suggestion: you might want to check local electronics stores to see if they still have any left over. I was lucky enough to find one recently for $400; no one at the store even knew what it was!

Good luck,

Nick

I got the set top box on ebay and the VCR from a local store that used it as a window display. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif
