Where can I find information on how to record HDTV programs from my DTC-100 receiver?

Can someone please point me to a thread perhaps that would list the various alternatives available for recording HDTV signals?

Sorry, as far as I'm aware, there is no way whatsoever with consumer-based equipment to record in HD from a DTC100. The other (very long) threads about 169Time talk about their alleged modification of the DTC 100 which would enable it to "talk" to a consumer digital recorder and record OTA programming.

Well, it is not quite that impossible, just almost.

Some poor alternatives:

1. The Dish 5000 with 8VSB modulator will allow recording with something like AccessDTV. There are threads on this.

2. A W-VHS recorder will allow recording from the DTC-100. Many threads on this as well.

3. Some new alternatives (D-VHS plus new STB) may be coming from JVC and Mitsubishi. More threads on this.

This equipment is difficult to come by.
