I'm thinking I don't want my prized and only PV-HD1000 doing mundane tasks like tape rewinding etc. Does the renowned PV-HD1000 guru Gridleak use a tape rewinder for his Panny recordings, thus saving wear and tear on his prized machines? If so which one? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif

No, I'm sorry to say that it's one of those things I keep putting off. I had one bad experience with a cheap rewinder and never looked any further.

When I'm in a hurry I use the JVC DH30000 as a rewinder. Works great. Even has a remote.http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Analog -- Always out of adjustment.
Digital -- Always one more bug.
