OK this was hilarious. I usually reward myself after morning PT with a stop at Starbucks on the way home. Today I was doing the happy dance because they finally had the pumpkin scones in stock after I'd been yapping about them for weeks. I hate the beers though. BLECH!

I wonder how much is added in the unrated version. I just checked my local grocery store RB has it.
Looks good!

2 minutes.

Weird movie alert: "Resolution" starts off about a guy going into the woods to help his buddy who is addicted to crack get off the drug and bring him back home. Ho hum, maybe, but it gets continually weirder and winds up very definitely a supernatural horror film. Some here don't like the approach and the PQ on NF even at a reported 9 mbps wasn't good but it was "shot on Red." Hell, I thought it was shot with an iPhone. But I got it without any rebuffering which is a common occurrence on NF given more and more cutting the cable. Two and a half crack pipes.

I ordered some stuff from HorrorDome a while back and now am on their email list and get the updates around this time of the year. Some of their stuff is pretty cool but some of it is like... seriously, "movie quality"? What effing movies are you watching!

Hang in there. The perspective you gain will serve you well down the road. Ah crap, I sound like my dad...
When I lived in AZ seems like I ended up out of work in the summers. Dot com crash...Anyway hit the stuff the like the General and then go play 18 in the afternoon for $7-10 at a nice course - with powered cart(while my wife worked). Sure it's 107 but it always cheered me up.biggrin.gif

Dude that is way too early, but the alternative is paying for the rest of the day, basically daycare and even here in Ohio the price is pretty expensive.

You mentioned playing golf in AZ and I can bare the heat in AZ but I dunno how you guys play golf there. My wife's late grandmother did that all day when she was retired lol! I kinda played golf off and on but the best part of the golf was the drink cart girl coming by and smoking my cigar. I only lasted about 9 holes on a course out of pure frustration, so I caddy and drank the rest of the time.

Edit: I noticed Kenobi got the 6666 post here!

Yeah that Mj/girl is pretty creepy.

Ok here goes. In no particular order except whenever we all watch The Conjuring, here's a start of a list. I'm up for a Lords Of Salem night also. So at least six are first time viewings

The Wizard of Gore
The Wizard of Gore 2007
Phantasm Series
NOES Series
The Conjuring
The Purge
Trouble Everyday
Baby Blues
Grabbers
Lords of Salem
The Blob 1988
Night of the Creeps
Zombie (Fulci)

Who knows what I'll rent, I want to see VHS2 I liked the first one. I also have that DVD with 15 flicks on it I got from WallyWorld. My Vudu wishlist is loaded up and I'm combing Amazon Instant daily. I'll probably go for new stuff first and then shift to the others.

Due to an $850 auto repair I cut off my Netflix and premiums on Directv to help keep Christmas alive for the 2 year old. I'll miss my auto ship coffee too smile.gif but we must do what we must do.

COME ON OCTOBER BRING IT

Nice list! I am not going to cheat this weekend because VHS2 is check out at all my local RB. Tonight will be IM3 and some sporadic football watching tomorrow!

I do not like when auto repairs come up because either I don't have the time to fix it, parts are expensive or it is just easier for the stealership to do it. Your a good guy for cutting that all off because Christmas is coming up quickly! We have been getting toys and price checking Toys R Us vs. Amazon! I am learning Legos are not cheap lol!

The Lego sets are a money pit,I've spent hundreds on Star Wars sets for my son,OTH,he does get a lot if use out of them and they are a great project to do together. And they hurt like hell when steeped on in the middle of the night !

Maybe just maybe the belt tightening will spread to the wife and she'll get on board with ditching Directv. The truck is 10 years old and it's only ever been in the shop for a radiator and this freeze plug. Damn freeze plug is like a 10 dollar part that took 800 dollars in labor to replace. It's for sale as of today, we need to upgrade anyways to get more room for the kid but the plan was to wait until March when the wife's car was paid off to avoid 2 payments. So if it sells pretty soon that'll be awesome.

I agree they are worth it! My son wants the 'smaller' lego kits but we buy him the duplo sets for now! I love those star wars ones, that would be very fun to put together! Yeah the Duplo ones hurt really bad too!

Freeze plugs, heater cores, A/C vent fan (in dash one) are all cheap parts but are labor intensive! Trucks sell quickly second hand and there are a lot of new trucks to choose from. Only downside about cars/trucks these days is everything is $$$$. I mean I laughed when I saw a $42K sticker price on Subaru STi! And the sales person said they do not budge on the sticker for this car, I laughed again!

Insidious 2.......not impressed. I enjoyed how they linked the 2 movies together, but it wasn't really all that scary (especially compared to the first one) and it was mostly a disjointed mess. I'll admit that I slammed a few Tanqueray/Tonics before we went, but I'm not sure that any level of sobriety would have made this easier to follow or more enjoyable in general. frown.gif

Anyway, decided to brainstorm on my list this AM. Here's 20 that I know for sure I'll be watching (in no particular order). 10 first time viewings and 10 repeats:

Frankenstein's Army
V/H/S
V/H/S 2
World War Z
No One Lives
Otis
Dark Skies
The Last House on the Left
Evil Dead
Lords of Salem
American Mary
Battle Royale
The Dead One
House of the Devil
House of 1000 Corpses
I Saw the Devil
The Purge
Trick R Treat
The Conjuring
Inbred

I realized that I've been dropping an unanticipated amount of cash on our challenge these days. Most of these movies were bought recently just for this year's list and the props for our Haunted Yard are starting to accumulate very quickly. So much fun though. biggrin.gif
