Also, Amazon will often price match BB.
Thanks for the link.

I just checked BB online and they say I can order it and pick it up today at the same store I was at earlier. The weather isn't cooperating again so I don't know when I'll get a chance to go back up there. I work 6 days a week and more snow just makes the work day longer.

Actually, I did the very same thing.

My BB doesn't stock everything (or at least put it out on the shelves) and I have to check beforehand to see if they have it at all.
It's a bit of a hassle, but at least I get what I want.

I usually use Amazon because I have their free 2-Day Shipping.
However, there are times when their price is too high IMO and I go shop around for a better deal.

My wife's company is being sold this summer and all sorts of stormy weather is predicted. I'm a worse case scenario kind of guy so the worry is already getting to me.

Is the prospective buying keeping some original employees like your wife?

My wife and I always feel we can be replaced ( my wife especially), the worrying is just in the back of our minds and things usually work out, but the uncertainty keeps us on pins and needles. Things will work out man, you guys keep your chin up!

She's just high up enough to where it's debatable. Very high up spots are almost always gone but her department is sales so there's a ton of competition there. She could be axed or relocated or left alone and the not knowing is the worst.

My wife is in sales too and her company is going through another redesign so there is a slight possibility of being axed. I told her we are opening a food truck in Maui if that happens!biggrin.gif

Would suck if wife gets the ax,but a food truck in Maui sounds better than a cold day in Cincy. :-) .BTW,86 here now,had to turn a/c on again.

Our past couple of years have been very rough. Both my wife and I have lost jobs and have moved 3x. Me getting back to work means one more move as we are very cramped in our current place but it has beena growi experience in many ways so I count our trials as blessings as hard as that is.

Best of luck to you both in yours should they come.

Congrats on the new job General, that sucks to have to move for work. Especially when you have kids. I've been fortunate,I've been with the same company for 25 years. I'm in construction in South Fla. and unchecked immigration has taken a toll on my work and wages but someone has to clean up the mess so I stay busy.

I will admit it would suck for us but after the initial shock, it will be time for a welcomed change.

That was an idea we had and because my wife is a really great cook and I think people would love to eat the food after swimming in the ocean. I agree that pretty much work and my sons therapy sessions are the only thing keeping us here. My son will be done with most of the therapies in a year so really if it happened there will be nothing to keep us here.

My mother in law is the big anchor for us. They are very close and she is getting pretty old. The kid is young enough that a big move would not hurt her and if done correctly would be a great benefit. Our public schools are terrible and the private ones are only a bit better education wise. You are paying for relative safety for the most part in the private schools.

My mom lives close to us, down the street actually, and we talked about what we would do and she said she would help/move with us. It is rather difficult when kids are involved as well as family members, especially if you have roots down where you live. Schools aren't the best in Hawaii unless I get into the private or home school. Even in Ohio private school is very expensive, we are fortunate to live in a decent town where the schools are good. But with my wife's work who knows where we will live a few years from now. Kinda like the military but without the 200 plus days a year I would be away from my family.

We will do what we have to do but I sure hope it doesn't come to that. In preparation, many ramen will be eaten to buffer the bank just a little more.

Ha! I guess I should state that all of the fixins added to ramen were leftovers from a previous meal. I am too lazy to prepare that fresh.tongue.gif
