It is pretty crazy and the case was classified in Russia for many years.

I would say most of the accounts from 30-40 years ago were probably hoaxes but I wouldn't doubt there are 'animals' on this planet that haven't been discovered yet.

Will do, I will probably get Netflix for the month of October so I can have a bunch of newbie horror movies to watch.

For the gamer guys and fans of Alien, this should interest you.

Games that piqued my interest are, Alien: Isolation, The new Uncharted, Batman Arkham Knight, Mortal Kombat X, The Witcher 3, Destiny and Little Big Planet 3. Forgot to add Metal Gear V: The Phantom Pain.

Willow Creek is getting ripped a new one online. Shaky cam sucks and is nothing but a cheap way to make a movie.

GK - nice set up!
I have used this product below for years. Get it from Costco, and they often have a $3 off coupon so is relatively cheap at less than $20 a month. I lift/run first thing in the morning - 6amish. I find this gets me into the workout better than not using it. You still have to put the effort in to get started, but I feel it consistently gets me into a killer zone quicker, for longer period than without. It may not be as aggressive as what you want, but , for me, fills the need to get more productive workouts in the god forsaken early hours. tongue.gif

Tough crowd!

Willow Creek: Don't see if you're 110% sick of handheld horror movies or Bigfoot.

What will be the next overused and abused sub-genre? Cannibals? Women in Prison? Handheld Cannibalistic Women in Prison Flicks?

The above post is 100% medically accurate

Netflixer's heads up, they've added "Haunt" (same day as Redbox) and "Jug Face" (with Sean Young) for your horror enjoyment. Plus the trailer for "Hemlock Grove" season 2 is up.

Handheld movies are being bought because A) they're cheap to make and B) nobody wants to pay for movies anymore (see the link to the video of the presentation by the horror film distributor I posted last year).

Neither do I, just NOT large bi-pedal critters.

Large animals need lots of room to live.
There has to be a self-perpetuating population, and that takes a large amount of land and food.
No place on this planet is there a place like that anymore....humans are EVERYWHERE.wink.gif

This is true for a lot of parts of America, sans Alaska. The show I watched about the Yeti in Siberia said the Yeti's roaming area is 1.97 million square miles (just Siberia not the whole of Russia)! In comparison the USA 3.79 million square miles and that is including Alaska. Maybe they are airdropped from alien motherships?tongue.gif

Here is the discovery link to the Russian Yeti if anyone is interested to read about this case.

I believe there are many types of ocean critters that we haven't discovered yet.

Agreed, we are just understanding our oceans and there are probably a ton of creatures that we haven't discovered yet. Scientist are barely cataloging Giant Squids in there own environment. The closest humans get are when the rotting carcass washes up on shore and those things are huge!

I live in a state where much of the land most folks would consider "wilderness."
However, it's not really untouched or unexplored.

>90% of the original forestlands have been cut down for lumber since the white man arrived.
There is no pocket or valley or mountain peak for a population of Squatches to survive in.

Every year for a month, hunters are slogging around and beating bush for deer and elk.
Yep, dumba$$es with guns and hair-triggers.wink.gif

That might be the way to go, while rear channels can work in celings, center channels can sound weird because of the dialog coming down at you never sounds quite right and never seems to mesh with the image on-screen.

I don't care for the new forum look. My Stylish add-on for Firefox still hides the side bar but I no longer have the widescreen post view. I do like how names are shown for "likes" and that we can "unlike" a post if we change our mind.

I picked up some movies last week at Redbox. Devil's Due was just plain boring for the first hour. Nothing really happens until the end and by then it's too little too late. They could have edited it down to about 40 minutes.
Dark House (IV) wasn't terrible but could have been much better. It did have some scary looking axe-wielding madmen but for some reason they couldn't move while upright. They sort of hopped around sideways like monkeys while dragging their axes.
I started watching Camp Dread but didn't have time to finish it. I might try again with the next rental from Redbox or maybe just wait for it to hit Netflix.

How can you just go to last post in a thread?

I caught Wolf Creek 2 last night. Pretty damn decent. That Mick guy is a trip. I need to get a hold of part one asap.
