I don't normally check out the extras but had the time and usually the re-releases of trashy movies are fun because they can grab some of the actors/actresses 10, 20 years later and is funny to see them now and their perspective of the trash they were in. Lol.

In this case was interesting how the director wanted to have, the rack in question, be part of an extended, beautiful interlude where the audience can catch their breath and enjoy these two physically pleasing individuals enjoying each other. Unfortunately the MPAA made him greatly edit the scene. Makes you wonder what could have been on the floor?

18. The Conjuring (HBO On Demand, FTV)
Although I'm not sure this lived up to some of the hype that friends had heaped upon it, I did enjoy it as a throwback to some of the great 70s flicks before the 80s went slasher crazy (not that I don't love those). Almost makes me want to see Anabelle despite the horrid reviews.

19. Teeth (HBO On Demand, FTV)
I have a little bit of trouble with the fact that there wasn't a single male in this movie with redeemable qualities, but the lead was great and as each "encounter" of hers grew, it was hard not to applaud the end results. Also, John Hensley always creeped me out on Nip/Tuck and so between Hostel 3 and Teeth October has been very good to me.

That would've been awesome. I appreciate the director looking out for us like that...ah well

I love IFC. They show some unusual movies. They don't edit for content or time but they do take commercial breaks.
Zombie Strippers will be on Friday evening. I have that one on DVD and it's a hoot.
Suspiria is on Sunday the 26th at 2:30AM. I tried to find that one to watch last October and came up empty. I watched Deep Red instead.

Other horror movies on IFC this month:
28 Weeks Later
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Alien 3
Army of Darkness
Beetlejuice
Cabin Fever
Creepshow
From Within
Halloween
House of 1000 Corpses
Insidious
Jaws/2/3/Revenge
Joy Ride
Lake Dead
Mimic

Mulberry Street
Saw/3/4/5/6
Scream/2
The Children
The Descent
The Exorcist
The Eye
The Hills Have Eyes 2
The Last Exorcism

Teeth being female centered makes it alien to me and that much more disturbing like Excision. Women be trippin bruh.

I watched this a few years ago and I was just squirming during the last part! I would rather walk out into a land mine field!

Garfunkel and Oates is one of those shows. When I saw Fun Size it was killing me that I remembered seeing the Galaxy Scout girl somewhere before but I couldn't place her. It turned out to be Riki Lindhome, the tall blond Garfunkel half of Garfunkel and Oates.

I've not seen Excision though it was also on my On Demand when flipping through. Now I'm morbidly curious.

With Teeth, I just enjoyed it in the same way I would ignore the alleged slut shaming that went into the 80s teen slasher flicks. I thought it was funny even if I find the world view that all men are rapists to be abhorrent.

Yeah, it looks like a fun channel. I wouldn't have given it a second glance without the insight of the knowledgable folks here on this thread.

Sanctum got some hate but I thought it was really good, especially when watched in the dark or very low light conditions. Good pick.

I finished watching this one tonight. Pretty cool.

Something about this pic makes me think of Charlton Heston.

People outside of this forum don't appreciate the commitment, and sacrifice, we do to get in as many movies in October.
AVP may be the darkest movie I have ever seen in a theater, other than liking the movie a lot my other thought when seeing it was "people will so complain about the black level when this comes out on blu-ray
To paraphrase that Gundam commercial from a few years back "October Horror Marathon what is YOUR level of commitment"

"Bring out yer dead!".."Wait I'm not dead yet!"..(Sound Austrian here) "WRONG !!" (You know what happens next..)

Renee Zellweger's actual farm. It looks white to me but I guess it could be a really light blue. I guess she needs the money to pay for that makeover.

This movie has -
Not very sexy, but funny, cat fight.
Lots of blood puking.
Lots of puss.
A scene that will "go down" as one of the more EWWWW, but funny, scenes I have viewed in a while.

Favorite line - "Jenny is not feeling well."

3 will never have foreplay again Zombies

Lol! That scene!

Horns (2014) Favorite FTV of 2014. Not a gamechanger but Alexandre Aja and crew serve up something fresh that held my attention. The film could do a better job of mixing in the comedy element but if you get past that it's an enjoyable film. Harry Potter was excellent in this role. Looking forward to a second viewing and will definitely check out The Woman in Black now.

Texas Chainsawful (2013)There are so many things wrong with this quasi "sequel". Who writes this shxt? It's bad, bad, bad. But the good...Alexandra Daddario. OMG! Those eyes, and everything else.

The Toolbox Murders (1978) Exploitation at it's finest. It felt like this movie was made for 42nd street. Nekkid chicks in a condo building are being killed by a masked murder that uses...you guessed it. Ridiculous but fun.

Hmm, I did not realize Aja did Horns. In the queue.

Daddario is hot, but still has a wholesome, sympathetic feel to her as well - perfect for last girl standing horror movies.

20. Black Christmas (1974)- {4.75/5} Blu-ray Nothing much to add about this movie that I haven't already posted. After a couple viewings since I first saw it in 2011, I found myself nitpicking about some of the acting and other things in the movie, but it matters not. This one is still a classic and it was well worth the $12 I paid for it to permanently add it to my library.

I started All Cheerleaders Die last night after I got home from a buddy's house but I only lasted about 30 minutes before falling asleep. I'll be finishing it up tonight. Looks okay so far but I'm curious how it will fare once the killing starts.

Yeah, was looking at Horns the other day. Will probably check it out soon. The Woman in Black, to me, was good with regard to atmosphere and such but the friggin jump scares really bugged me.

Daddario is ridiculous. If you want a better horror flick with her in it, check out Bereavement. Or even True Detective when she isn't shy whatsoever about showing the goods.
