I see Dead Snow 2 is disc only. I have a couple NF discs collecting dust here. Need to watch at least one of them and send it back.
Hmm, I am usually above the Syfy channel but T.Hel looks to be going full Six mode in the trailer. I think I heard her call the uniform dude Gaius? (actually, is pronounced ehnGaius).

You're crazy, Clarence. Put down that fancy Cabernet and pick up a PBR ASAP. Some of my fave shows are on the Syfy channel. Have you seen Z Nation? Love that show.

Ha! Yep, that's me...

Well, since I won't be watching much NFL since my beloved 9ers imploded, I have a little more tv time...

Lol. Watching the Raiders beat up the 9ers was a thing of beauty. On the bright side, you have your Ducks playing in the Rosebowl.

Yes, I have done a pretty good job there.

Hopefully, not the last game of the year either. Goes to show you can buy a good football program.

All right, I will add to my queue as well. I haven't even gotten to any of the American Horror story episodes yet...

Did Dead Snow 2 last night. Always impresses me that foreign horror seems to have a built in advantage over U.S. in they have such good locations and seem more predicated on practical effects instead of cgi.

This had a lot of big, staged action sequences of Zombie on human, Zombie on Zombie and Zombie on tank.

The acting isn't great, and many lines seem to fall flat but the tone has kind of a Shaun of the Dead thing and lots of rubber gore for visual fun. The oddest/funniest thing to me was how NON politically/sensitively correct this movie is. Handicapped folks, young mothers with stroller, kids, all get taken out to black comedic effect.

Saw The Pyramid, frustrating movie in the sense there is some really good parts in it. More suspense then horror, not a lot of blood, but excellent kills and plenty of creepy dark pyramid interiors. Also, it's not a mummy movie, and NO ZOMBIES worth a rent.

An article reminded me of the 1984 movie "Dreamscape" with Dennis Quaid, Kate Capshaw, Max Von Sydow and Christopher Plummer. I found it on Hulu+ and watched it last night. Nice time trip back to the days of "big hair" and entertaining. Three dreamscapes.

Love this film and I remember how Snakeman scared me pretty good as a kid!

I got to episode 3 of Dark Mirror and man what a trip! This show reminds me of The Twilight Zone, and Phillip K Dick novels! That last Life Recording episode had my wheels turning! I mean the concept is just crazy and I would never win a conversation with my better half! Ha!

If you can still fit your car in the parking space, WITHOUT going over the line, you are not old.

I had lunch with my Mom at the old folks home today. When I take the kids to visit her we have a game we play to count the cars that are OVER a line in the parking space. As we pull through the lot looking for a space to park the kids are striving to be the first to call out each poorly parked vehicle. Record is six...That is old.

Many times, I can't help but remembering the awesome scene from Cockneys Vs. Zombies.

I saw Dreamscape in the theaters and well... my brother who saw it with me is still in his 30s. I love that flick, I think I put it in the Hulu queue but haven't gotten around to revisiting it.

I was one of three Wildcats fans in a local for that Pac-12 title game. Talk about a horror show. But I'm a Pats fan so I have that. And UA basketball. Finishing Top 10 in the other sport that matters would be a huge bonus either way.

The last car I had that might go over the line I traded in 1973 for a Datsun wagon. Since, all cars I've owned don't go over the line though downtown in this burg has varying length spaces which range from one that a big pickup can easily park in to ones that might be difficult even for a smart car.

I think the only time I saw "Dreamscape" was on VHS in the 1980s. So this was the first time for OAR.

There's a funky British "found footage" movie over on Hulu called "Exhibit A" that some might enjoy after a few pints of ale. It's about a teenage girl whose dad buys her a camcorder and she documents him going out of his mind as economic problems occur. Two and a half DV cartridges.

People around these parts have problems driving and parking. Not just older folk or young inexperienced drivers, all of them.

You haven't seen bad driving until you have driven in S.Fla. Need to watch out for the elderly on scrips,or the aliens who can't read the signs that are in a language they don't understand.[emoji15]

I agree that Ohio is probably second to Florida when it comes to bad drivers. Living here for 3 years and I have seen some crazy ish more than all my years living in CA! Then add phones in the mix and you have anarchy on the roads!

Netflix sent me Dead Snow 2 yesterday and I was not as impressed at it like I was with part 1. It's like they tried to make a story and plot. Still, it had a few laughs.

When it rains around here it is well advised to stay off the roads because California drivers don't know how to drive when it is dry let alone wet.

I thought Boston was pretty special. It was the only town I've lived in where I regularly saw cars backing off one way on-ramps.

Portland is not so bad. If anything drivers are overly courteous. When it snows the city shuts down but that is more on the city than anyone else. Though curiously I find our drivers to be generally awful in the rain for a town known for rain.

Lol, I remember those days and I remember my boss calling me the few days it actually rained hard in CA and he told me not to come into work (I lived farthest) because of all the traffic/wrecks.
